Course Overview
A Level Economics will give you an excellent understanding of how
individuals, firms and governments on a local, national and global level meet
conflicting needs and wants with scarce resources. You will investigate
microeconomic activity, such as the impact of individual decisions, the
importance of competition and how markets operate, as well as the 'bigger
picture' (macroeconomics), the global impact of financial markets and monetary
policy.

Economics is a pathway to many careers, all business disciplines, Law and Geography at university and will provide you with skills for any profession.
What Will I Learn
The units cover both Macroeconomics and Microeconomics as well as modern economic thinking such as behaviour economics.

How Will I Be Assessed
You will be assessed by 3 exams at the end of the second year.
Entry Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above are needed to study this course.
Required Experience
No specific experience is required for this course but a keen interest in Economics is essential.
