Functional Skills Maths (Block Fortnight)
Course Overview
Do you need proof of your Mathematics skills? Do you have all the skills, but no paperwork to back you up so that you can get your next job or promotion, or perhaps continue studying?
Alongside our ‘standard’ Maths courses — which are run once a week in the daytime or evening — we are offering the opportunity for people to come and study the qualification over two intensive weeks.
This two-week (10 days), fast-paced course is designed to get you exam-ready for your Level 2 Functional Skills Maths qualification. We'll help you master your techniques in areas that you need support and prepare you for taking your Level 2 exams at the end of the 10 days.
Most employers and further education providers will accept a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in place of your GCSE certificate, but you will need to double-check with your chosen employer, college, or university.
Below are a list of dates we are offering this two-week block programme. Due to strict timelines set by the exam boards, it is best to apply for courses at least 8 weeks in advance and enrolments must be completed 5 weeks prior to the course start date. We have courses starting regularly, so you should be able to find dates that will suit you and your time frame.
